Porsche 924 Transmission/Transaxle 1976-1979 includes model types Manual 016.Y, 016.Z, 088/6, 088/A with designations YR, XT, VA, VB, Automatic 087/3 and 087/6 designation RL and RK. How do I tell what my transmission model and type designations are? The build sticker for a 924 is under the collapsible spare tire on the inside of the rear body panel that tells you all the information about the car. First is the Vin #, then model type of the car, then motor and transmission designation, then paint color and interior code, and lastly the 3 digit option codes. (example 220 is for limited slip differential)
