Porsche 924S Transmission/Transaxle and Parts 1987-88 includes manual model 016.J with designations QK and 7Q and automatic models 087.M and 087.M with designation RCB and RCD. How do I tell what my transmission model and type designations are? The build sticker for a 924S is under the collapsible spare tire on the inside of the rear body panel that tells you all the information about the car. First is the Vin #, then model type of the car, then motor and transmission designation, then paint color and interior code, and lastly the 3 digit option codes. (example 220 is for limited slip differential)
