Porsche 911 Transmission Gasket Set, 911/912 1965-68 with narrow intermediate plate

  The earlier 901 transmissions were chill cast aluminum. They had a narrow intermediate plate and a small differential with 45 mm differential carrier bearings. In 1969 Porsche changed over to the magnesium metal content "die casting" which also included a thicker intermediate plate and a larger differential with 50 mm  differential carrier bearings.
