Porsche Boxster Tiptronic Transmission 2.7 liter 5 speed Automatic 2000-2004 A86.05

Description: Porsche Boxster Tiptronic Transmission 5 Speed Automatic. 2.7 liter engine, 2000-2004 A86.05. We offer both used and rebuilt in this transmission. The used unit has the oil pan removed and inspected for debris and carries a 90 day warranty. We do not have a way to test these used units. The rebuilt transmission is an authorized ZF remanufactured unit that is tested on a transmission dynomometer and is complete with torque converter and has been filled with 9 liters of the proper hydraulic fluid and is completely ready for install. The transmission is bagged in a heavy mill plastic bag to guarantee no leakage in shipping. These transmissions carry a one year parts and replacement warranty with unlimited mileage. An alike core of the same ZF manufacturer number must be returned to be an acceptable core.

All transmissions will be shipped via truck freight.  The shipping charges will be calculated after your order is submitted to get you the best possible rate. A commercial address will give you much better rates than a residence. These days the trucking companies look at Google Maps to see the destination and will raise the price if the destination is residential.  Please provide the company name under "special instructions" when checking out. An additional charge is charged by the trucking company for lift gate service. All transmissions will be secured inside a wooden or plastic crate for shipping. This crate is used for the return of the core. 

Rebuilt Transmissions:  Rebuilt Transmissions are warrantied for two years or 12,000 miles which ever comes first. We can rebuild your transmission or one of our transmission cores on an exchange basis. Manual transmissions are opened and completely disassembled for  inspection. The wear parts such as synchronizer rings, engagement teeth, and bearings are replaced as needed to guarantee proper operation with the intent of long use. Please always provide optional fitments or retrofit information including the VIN # of the car if a larger motor is installed or there is a possibility that the transmission or suspension has been changed. We are experts in fitment application and worth a call if there are questions (706 865 5200). Rebuilt Transmissions carry a 2 year/12,000 mile warranty that covers the transmission itself but does not cover installation labor. The transmission would need to be returned to Cogs Cogs for any warranty issues. Track event transmission warranties would be looked at on an individual basis and may not be warrantied if the transmission was abused.
